Selby knows that the stylists at SJ Beauty Salon fuel each other’s thirst for inspiration. An enthusiastic practitioner of the cosmetological arts, Selby combines two great loves in one creative calling. Cut and color are her passions and she’s equally at home with a tint brush or stylist scissors, which gives her a “big picture” approach to the looks she creates. Her checklist of inspirations include young country diva Carrie Underwood, starlet Jessica Biel and the iconic Johnny Depp. She worked at a salon in San Anselmo, California called Siren Salon for over seven years. During her time there she learned under Nicole Giannini (the owner) and studied at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco. In Marin county, Selby cut hair for some of the countries wealthiest individuals and celebrities.
